Promoting Scientific Discussion

As the objective of the MMF is to ensure the best possible co-ordinated research, standards, public policy and communications relevant to wireless communications and health, the MMF has committed itself to sponsoring a range of meetings, conferences, presentations and other initiatives that promote discussion on this important topic.

Bioelectromagnetics Society Annual Conference www.bems.org
The annual meeting of the Bioelectromagnetics Society (BEMS) is the leading scientific conference on Bioelectromagnetics with participants attending from around the world. It provides an opportunity for scientists to meet and discuss recent scientific, medical and developments on the biological effects and uses of electromagnetic energy at non-ionising frequencies. The MMF has provided sponsorship to BEMS annually and information on their meetings and conferences is available from http://www.bioelectromagnetics.org/.

European Bioelectromagnetics Association Congress www.ebea.org
The conference aims to bring together scientists, engineers, experts and decision-makers in order to summarise present scientific knowledge about the biological effects of electromagnetic fields and any implications for human health. The MMF has provided sponsorship for the last two conferences.

10th International Congress of Toxicology www.ictx.org
The MMF was a silver sponsor for the ICTX Congress held in Finland where 1500 participants including toxicologists and doctors from around the world attended.

26th International Congress on Occupational Health
The MMF provided sponsorship for the 26th ICOH Congress held in Singapore where nearly 1800 participants from 90 countries attended to discuss the latest developments in occupational health and safety.
